City goalkeeper denied a full house of league starts with groin injury ahead of Magpies clash
Sky Blues goalkeeper Joe Murphy has been ruled out of City's final game of the 2012/13 season with a groin strain.
The 31-year-old was on course to have started every one of the Sky Blues' league fixtures this season but picked up the injury in a minor accident at home.
Understudy shot stopper Chris Dunn is now in line to make his first league start for City this season in Saturday's curtain call trip to Meadow Lane to face Notts County.
City boss Steven Pressley said: "It's unfortunate for Joe considering the manner in which he picked up the injury but it gives Chris an opportunity to step in."
Full-back Jordan Stewart has also been ruled out with a groin injury he picked up in last weekend's home defeat to Leyton Orient but Pressley added it opened the door for a return for Blair Adams who is on his way back from a knee injury.
"The injury to Jordan means we can give Blair a chance to get a game in before the end of the season and I'm really looking forward to seeing how he gets on.
"We want young and hungry players at this club and Blair certainly fits that category. I've not been able to see much of Blair in a first team capacity this season because of his injury so I'm excited to see him involved this weekend."
