Easter 'Edge' Hunt winner Cameron Thorn collects his prize of a morning with the squad at the training ground

Coventry City welcomed a special visitor to the Ryton Training Ground on Thursday when our ‘Easter Edje Hunt’ winner came to watch the Sky Blues in preparation for their game against Crawley Town.

Cameron Thorn won the chance to watch the team train from close quarters and meet all of his heroes after winning the competition, which took place before the Kids for a Quid match against Doncaster Rovers on Good Friday.

Cameron, who is a Season Ticket holder and regular visitor to the Family Zone on a matchday, watched as the squad took part in various drills and sessions, and took the chance to have a kick about with some of the players, including Steven Jennings and Richard Wood.

The Club also presented Cameron, aged 6, with a goody bag full of CCFC Merchandise including a 2012/13 Home shirt, which Cameron got signed by the first team squad.

Manager Steven Pressley and the squad also posed for photos with Cameron before he moved into the Press Conference, to hear the thoughts of Pressley and Midfielder Franck Moussa ahead of the game against Crawley Town.

Pressley said “We were delighted to welcome Cameron to Ryton to watch the team training. We’re sure that he enjoyed his day with us and hopefully it will be an experience he will never forget.”
