Coventry narrowly lost at Sheffield thanks to late penalty..
Coventry City Under-21's were narrowly defeated at Sheffield Wednesday despite a Joe Henderson free-kick.
The side conceded early on with Josh Windass finishing well for the home side in the first half.
After the break, Coventry improved and were deservedly level courtesy of a brilliant free-kick from Henderson.
However, late on in the game, City conceded a penalty which Matt Fletcher converted meaning Coventry are still waiting to get their first Under-21 win of the season.
Academy Manager Gregor Rioch commented: "I thought the side battled well today and even though we lost to a late penalty, there are plenty of positives to take out of the game.
"I thought they were excellant and the result wasn't a fair reflection on the 90 minutes.
"If we can keep to those standards set today, I'm sure results will begin to go for us."
