Sky Blues claim first three-point haul in PDL with away win over the Foxes

Coventry City's development squad picked up their first win of the 2012/13 Professional Development League campaign with a 3-2 win over Midlands rivals Leicester City.

Strikes from Billy Daniels, Roy O'Donovan and Conor Henderson handed the Sky Blues their first three-point haul of the season as they resisted a late comeback from the Foxes at the King Power Stadium.

Daniels slotted home from close range after ten minutes after Leicester 'keeper Adam Smith made a save from Roy O'Donovan's attempt to convert a cross from Shaun Jeffers.

O'Donovan continued his hot streak infront of goal for the development squad ten minutes after the break though when his deflected effort fround its way past Smith for his fifth goal in the last four games.

Henderson then made it 3-0 with a sweetly struck shot on 66 minutes to effectively put the game out of reach.

The Foxes got one back three minutes later though through Louis Greenway-Tambini and the goal galvanised the hosts who grabbed a second through Harry Panayiotou with four minutes to go although the Sky Blues managed to hold out for the win.
