Coventry City ad to report the death of former player, director and chairman Iain Jamieson
Coventry City Football Club are sad to report the death of former player, director and chairman Iain Jamieson on Friday, October 18.Iain played 184 games for the club at wing-half between 1948 and 1958, combining his playing days with a business career that saw him become the main board director of Courtaulds.
He became of director of the Sky Blues in 1973 and stepped into the role of chairman following Jimmy Hill's departure in 1983 before leaving himself a year later.
Coventry City Football Club would like to pass on its sincerest condolences to Iain HJamieson's family, friends and loved ones.
