Former Sky Blues striker will be signing his new book at the Ricoh Arena...

Former Sky Blues striker Leon McKenzie will return to the Ricoh Arena next month to mark the beginning of a new chapter in his life.

McKenzie spent three years with City between 2006 and 2009 and will be back at the Ricoh to sign copies of his autobiography, ‘My Fight With Life’ when the Sky Blues face Walsall on Saturday, December 8.

Fans need to be at the CCFC Superstore at the Ricoh Arena between 12.30pm and 1.30pm to get their copy signed. 

McKenzie will then move on to the Jaguar Lounge (between 2pm and 2.30pm) and Legends Lounge (between 2.30pm and 3pm) before presenting the man-of-the-match award in the Yorkshire Bank Lounge.

The paperback, which covers everything from Leon’s rise to the Premier League to the stresses and pressures that forced him to contemplate suicide, is released on Thursday, November 29 priced at £7.99 and is available from bookshops as well as Amazon, iTunes and publisher www.macanthonymedia.co.uk.
