Elliott and Fleck feature in development friendly win over Shanghai Under 20s
Sky Blues duo Stephen Elliott and John Fleck both got an hour under their respective belts as the club's development side beat Shanghai Under 20s in a friendly at Warwick University on Monday.
The Far Eastern outfit, currently on a tour of the UK, were beaten 2-1 by Lee Carsley's side at Cryfield Sports Ground with Elliott netting from the spot midway through the second half and Under 18 striker Courtney-Baker Richardson grabbing a second ten minutes later.
Shanghai got one back with six minutes of the game to go but City saw out the remainder of the game against a side who have already recorded wins over Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea.
