Sky Blues pen sponsorship deal with local stationery company
Coventry City’s busy summer of signings continued as the club penned a major new sponsorship deal with a local stationery company.
Jackson Office Products – a 66-year-old stationer in the city – has become the official stationery supplier to Coventry City Football Club.
The deal means the company’s name will be seen at the Ricoh Arena on matchdays in the form of an advertising board and on the scoreboard, it will benefit from adverts in the club’s award-winning programme and will also have corporate seats in the Premier Club.
Jacksons will supply a range of office materials to the club such as pens, paper, envelopes and other office supplies, and its logo will appear on the club’s headed paper.
Steve Beard, managing director of Jackson Office Products, said: “I am delighted to be able to sponsor the club in this way.
“I have been a Coventry City supporter through thick and thin over the years and while I was sad to see the club relegated last season, I still believe it is up to businesses such as mine to back the club where we can.
“As a city, we need a strong football club and we wanted to show our support and contribute to helping put the Sky Blues back where they belong.
“It is also great for our profile too. We are a local company, supplying local businesses with office products from pens to copiers and we can compete with the national stationers on price and believe that our same day and next day service is excellent.
