City midfielder called up for Republic of Ireland's
Coventry City midfielder Adam Barton has been called up to the Republic of Ireland's Under 21 squad for their UEFA 2013 European Championship qualifier with Turkey.Barton, who penned a three-year deal with the Sky Blues from Preston North End earlier this month, will travel with the Under 21s to Sligo for the home clash with Turkey on Tuesday, August 14 meaning he will miss the Sky Blues' Capital One Cup first round clash away at Dagenham & Redbridge.
