WILL Roberts signed his first professional deal with Coventry City in May 2012 after impressing the management staff with his performances in the Academy.

The winger was a crucial member of the Academy squad which clinched second spot in the FA Academy Premier League and he was handed a first-team squad number in the final weeks of the 2011/12 season.

In the final game of the season, he made his debut for the first team after replacing Gary McSheffrey in the first-half and impressed during the 4-0 defeat at Southampton.
