THE Coventry-born playmaker graduated from the club's youth academy and signed a professional two-and-a-half year deal with the Sky Blues in October 2010.

Thomas made his first team debut for City in the 2-1 FA Cup win over Crystal Palace in January 2011 before making his full first team debut in the same competition against Birmingham City the same month.

His appearances for the first team arrived just before his loan move to Premier League side Liverpool which was cut short through injury.
