Bigirimana signed his first professional Sky Blues contract in the summer of 2011, making his debut on the 8th August, in a 1-0 defeat against Leicester City.
The midfielder was a shining light in an otherwise disappointing season for City. He made 26 appearances in total and also picked up the Championship’s Apprentice of the Year award.
A move to Newcastle United followed, where he spent time on loan at Rangers and returned to Coventry for a brief spell in 2015.
With first-team football difficult to come by in the Northeast, Bigirimana re-joined the Sky Blues in August 2016. It is his third spell at the club having signed a deal until the end of the season.
