COVENTRY City fans can now buy their match day tickets for league games from the club's new City Central store.

The shop, in the Sherbourne Arcade, Lower Precinct, now sells tickets for all Coventry City league games, seven days a week.

However, tickets for cup games will still be sold exclusively from the Ricoh Arena ticket office.

The move means Sky Blues fans can now buy their tickets from two venues in the city centre - City Central and the Coventry Cathedral visitors centre.

Stephen Ebanks, head of Arena ticketing, said: "We want to make it as easy as possible for fans to buy tickets for games and this move is the latest step towards achieving that aim.

"It also comes at an ideal time as it means supporters can purchase tickets and pick up Christmas presents for Sky Blues friends and relatives all from the same central location."
