The countdown is on for Sky Blues supporters to snap up their Coventry City season ticket for the 2008/09 campaign at the cheapest Early Bird prices.

Fans have until 5.30pm today to take advantage of the cheapest season ticket prices, which enable an adult to buy a season ticket for as little as £277.

Those wishing to purchase or renew their season tickets for the upcoming season can do so at the Ricoh Arena ticket office which will be open from 9.30am to 5.30pm on Saturday June 28 and from 9am to 5.30pm on Monday June 30.

Sky Blues fans are being offered amazing value for money next season, with a recent national survey showing that Coventry City's 08/09 season ticket prices are the cheapest in the Championship.

Not only this but City's prices are cheaper than a staggering 80 per cent of clubs in League One, thanks to the fact that the Club has frozen season ticket prices for the second consecutive year.

Manager Chris Coleman has been impressed with the support of the Sky Blue Army since he arrived at Coventry earlier this year and he recently urged the fans to continue to back his players.

He said: "The supporters have been superb since I arrived at the Ricoh and the crowds we got last season were fantastic considering where we were in the league.

"We got over 28,000 at our final home game against Wolves, which was higher than anything we ever got at Fulham in the Premier League when I was manager there.

"I hope that supporters have seen that, with the new owners and a new management team, we really mean business for the coming campaign. I can promise we are doing our best to assemble a squad of players the fans are going to want to come to support.

"Our aim is always to do our best to play attractive, winning football. If we do that I'm sure the supporters will come again and we know that there is potential for massive support in this area.

"All I can ask is that the fans come and get their season tickets because we're certainly going to need your support again."
