Chris Birchall scored the only goal in a game aimed to keep the Sky Blues fresh over the international break.

Leon Best, getting valuable minutes under his belt after returning from a knee injury, layed on the chance for Birchall after breaking down the wing before cutting the ball back for the Trinidad and Tobago international.
