A SKILLFUL prospect and product of the Coventry City Academy, Adam Walker penned his first ever one-year professional deal with the club in the summer of 2009.
The Meriden-born midfielder was ever-present in midfield for Gregor Rioch's academy side and also earned himself his first ever first team appearance in the Sky Blues' 2-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday on December 28, 2008 aged just 17.
More appearances may have been on the cards for the youngster towards the twilight of the 2008/09 campaign although an injury cut his season short by two weeks.
