AN industrious midfielder who quickly establishing himself as one of the new breed of 'young guns' to emerge from the Academy into the first-team in recent years. Osbourne joined City in 1999 and quickly made the step up to the reserves before moving on to the bigger stage. He broke into the side in January 2003, aged just 16, and picked up the Young Player of the Year award at the end of the 2004/05 campaign. His tenacity and composure on the ball made an immediate impression on former City manager Iain Dowie upon his arrival in February 2007, with Isaac becoming a regular in the team, initially as right-sided midfielder. He ended the 2006/07 campaign by picking up City's Young Player of the Year for the second time and began last season as a right-back, a position he occupied throughout the campaign, following a series of injuries to David McNamee.
