THE Scottish midfielder signed for the Sky Blues for an undisclosed fee in the summer of 2009.
The former Bristol City, Barnsley and Doncaster man agreed terms and signed a two-year contract for the move away from Ashton Gate.
McIndoe made 90 league appearances for the Robins in two highly successful seasons for Gary Johnson's side and was man of the match when the Sky Blues fell to a 3-0 home defeat against Bristol in the 2008/09 season.
McIndoe was a regular feature in the Sky Blues starting line-up throughout 2009/10 and netted his first goal for the club in the home 1-1 draw with Plymouth in March 2010.
