THE Greek shot stopper became the first Sky Blues close season signing ahead of the 2007/08 campaign.
The 29-year-old joined on a free transfer from League Two outfit Hartlepool in May 2007, penning a three-year deal at the Ricoh Arena.
A former Greece under-21 international, 'Dimi' was an integral part of the Hartlepool side which won promotion to League One in 2005/06, keeping 25 clean sheets along the way in all competitions.
That included a spell at the turn of the year when he kept seven straight clean sheets and helped Danny Wilson's side to a record-breaking seven wins on the bounce.
He racked up 23 league and cup appearances for the Sky Blues last season before spending a short time on loan at then-League One outfit Nottingham Forest during the second half of the campaign.
A serious Achilles injury though just days after his arrival at the City Ground forced him to return to the Ricoh Arena where he sat out the remainder of the season.
