Marshall signs up for City

Coventry City has secured the services of goalkeeper Andy Marshall on a free transfer.
The 6'3" shot stopper has penned a two-year deal with the Sky Blues and will link-up with his new team-mates at pre-season training ahead of the tour of America.
Marshall has spent the last two-and-a-half years playing in the Championship for Millwall where he played in 75 games before his contract came to an end last month.
He started his career at Norwich where he made in excess of 200 appearances between 1993 and 2001.
After loan spells with Bournemouth and Gillingham, the 31-year-old then signed for the Canaries' arch rivals Ipswich, turning out 65 times for the Tractor Boys during a three year stint.
Marshall is Micky Adams' first goalkeeping recruit of the close season and the City boss will now be looking for at least one more body for competition between the sticks.
