COVENTRY City midfielder duo Gary McSheffrey and Carl Baker paid a visit to Coventry Building Society's High Street branch yesterday for a signing session with Sky Blues fans.

City supporters popped into the Coventry to get autographed photos of the wingers as well as find out more about the building society's Sky Blue Savers account, a joint venture between the football club and Coventry Building society.

Fans and members alike posed for photos with the pair who said they were more than happy to associate themselves with the relationship between the club and the Coventry.

McSheffrey said: "I think it's progress that there is an account especially for City fans. Coventry's my home town and I think I've still got my interest- zone account from when I was a kid - I I'll have to check my drawers s for it ! "

Coventry Building Society's Cassie Murray added she was delighted with the turn out and feedback from fans.
"It's been a fantastic day , members and staff have really enjoyed meeting Gary and Carl, and we have been able to raise awareness of the account to fans who came to visit ."
