COVENTRY City midfield duo Sammy Clingan and Aron Gunnarsson have been called up by their respective nations to take part in the approaching Euro 2012 qualifiers.

Clingan will link up with Nigel Worthington's Northern Ireland squad ahead of their Group C clash away to Slovenia on Friday, September 3.

Gunnarsson has been selected as part of the Iceland team which face Group H opponents Norway at home on the same day before travelling to Denmark on Tuesday, September 7.
