FREE: Bell wants another win

Posted on: Thu 12 Aug 2010

COVENTRY City midfielder David Bell says he wants keep the winning momentum going as the Sky Blues prepare to square off against Watford at Vicarage Road on Saturday.

Bell started both City's 2-0 opening day win over Portsmouth last Saturday as well as their 2-0 Carling Cup defeat away to Morecambe in midweek but the wideman said he was feeling fitter with every game and was confident Coventry could have a very good season.

"We feel like we can beat anybody at home so it's jjust a case of building thaty momentum and keeping it consistent and if we can compliment that with picking up a few points away from I think we could have a great season," he said.

"Bell missed out on a number of pre-season friendlies through injury but he added he was feeling sharper with every game after his influential appearance against Pompey last weekend as well as getting another 75 minutes under his belt at Morecambe.

"I have been playing a litle bit of catch up to be honest because I missed some of pre-season but it was good to play most of the game against Morecambe and I'm feeling fitter all of the time," he said.

"I've been happy with my form so far and we will be going to Watford looking to score goals because it's obviously been great to start the league campaign in the way we have."
