COLEMAN: Need that next win

Posted on: Wed 07 Apr 2010

COVENTRY City boss Chris Coleman says his side need to get back to the 90 minutes of consistency they have failed to display in their last few Championship fixtures.

Coleman saw the Sky Blues concede all of the goals in their 3-0 defeat to Reading at the Madejski Stadium in the first half before coming out to produce a much improved display in the second 45 minutes.

And the Sky Blues boss said his side will need to start producing over the whole game in their remaining fixtures if they are to have a positive end to what has been a topsy-turvy campaign to date.

"For the first dozen or so games this season we did really well and then we didn't win for ten games and then we got it back again to a point where we were around the play-off places but for some reason in these last few games we have looked like different teams in each half with the same players," Coleman said.

"The first 45 minutes today were probably the most disappointing of the season for me and we need to get that next win and we will only do that by producing over the 90 minutes."
