CITY goalkeeper Keiren Westwood says the Sky Blues need to maintain their must-win mentality to ensure a strong finish to their encouraging 2009/10 campaign.
The Sky Blues sit three points outside the Championship play-off places and Westwood said City have to win their weekend clash with Plymouth if they want to take things to the next level.
"The manager has constantly said we need to be top ten, top 12 which is the right thing to do and we are there at the moment so we need to keep it going," he said.
"Obviously we cannot ignore the fact that we have a chance of making the play-offs but at the same time we are all being careful not to get too carried away.
"That being said, if we do want to challenge to be in the top six this season we have to win against Plymouth. There is no question we have to win.
"The run we have been on at the moment has been great as well because it's not just us in the changing room that there has been enjoying a bit of a buzz, it's been the whole city because I think people can sense there is something good happening here at the moment.
"The Ricoh Arena is a fantastic stadium and the whole set-up of the club is geared towards the Premier League and I think the fans can see that we are making strides towards that so we need to maintain the kind of form we have shown in the last few weeks."
