COVENTRY City striker Freddy Eastwood says the thought of breaking into double figures with his goal tally this season is the perfect target to stay motivated for the rest of the season.
The Sky Blues striker, who currently has seven goals to his name in the 2009/10 campaign, said with the Sky Blues doing so well in the league at the moment, the chance to get into double figures was a great carrot for him to help the Sky Blues in their late-season promotion push.

"I'd love to get into double figures this season as would any striker and with Clinton, Steady and Freddie Sears all here aiming for starting places we have some very healthy competition at the moment," he said.
"I've not started the last couple of games but if I can score the goals that get me into double figures that will help me push for a starting place and help the club kick on at the same time."
The 26-year-old Welsh international also said the Sky Blues were just going to try and continue the current run of form which has established them as late play-off contenders, sitting just three points outside the top six.

"The lads are not getting carried away with it all because we know we have to keep the same focus that got us into this position in the first place.
"We go to Peterborough United on Saturday and regardless of their position in the table we know we are in for a tough game.
"We just have to make sure we stay focused and we do that and keep picking points up like we have been doing then we will see what happens."
