CHRIS Coleman has been given a fitness boost ahead of Coventry City's trip to Crystal Palace.
With Leon Barnett forced to serve a one-match suspension following his sending off for two bookings at Newcastle on Wednesday, the Sky Blues manager is confident centre-half James McPake will be fit.
"There is a good chance James McPake will be available because his back is getting better all the time," Coleman said.

"It was a shame for Leon because he was outstanding at Newcastle and he didn't deserve to be sent off.
"Ben Turner doesn't have any match fitness at all and we need to get him some reserve games."
Coleman will also be checking on the fitness of Freddy Eastwood and Gary Deegan with physio Michael McBride before the squad heads to South London.
He said: "Eastwood and Deegan should be fit but whether I'll start with them I don't know. Freddy showed good signs in training so with a bit of luck he'll be OK.
"Freddy injured his hamstring and groin straight after half-time. Deegs also had a hamstring problem and he'd been booked. The way yellow cards were being handed out it was odds-on he'd be booked again and we didn't want to risk that." |
