NEWS: Forest clash dedicated to tragic fan

Posted on: Fri 12 Feb 2010

COVENTRY City Football Club would like to express it's deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of Sky Blues supporter Graham Beal who tragically lost his life in a car accident on Saturday evening.

It is understood the 22-year-old season-ticket holder, from Atherstone, was travelling back from Bristol after watching Coventry City's 1-1 draw with Bristol City at Ashton Gate on Saturday afternoon.

Passenger Neil Randle, 42, is currently being treated for head and neck injuries at Worcester Royal Hospital.

As a mark of respect and sincere appreciation for Graham's tireless support of the football club, Coventry City will observe one minute's applause and don black armbands for the Coca-Cola Championship fixture with Nottingham Forest at the Ricoh Arena on Tuesday, February 9 in his honour.
