NEWS: Open training day today!!!
CITY boss Chris Coleman is inviting Sky Blues fans to come along to a special open training session and family fun day at the Ricoh Arena. Supporters can watch the squad as they are put through their paces by Coleman and his coaching staff at the event which takes place during half-term on Monday, February 15. There will also be a range of activities taking place on the day including a fun fair, inflatables, face painting, games consoles and giveaways. Refreshment kiosks will also be offering snacks and drinks and staff from Tesco will be on hand with free fruit for fans. Sky Blue Sam will be making an appearance and the whole event will be covered by Mercia FM's breakfast show presenter Andy Goulding. The City boss said the event was a great way for the club to get closer to the fans. "The fans have been fantastic supporting us home and away and we want to thank them for their support so far," he said. "We hope that everyone will enjoy all the activities that have been arranged on the day and that they will continue to get behind the lads for the important games that are left this season." The Coventry Telegraph stand turnstiles open at 9.30am. Entry is just £2 for adults and £1 for concessions. Season ticket holders get free entry, as do Junior Sky Blues members who are attending with a paying adult or adult season ticket holder. For further information, call 0844 873 1883.
