NEWS: Lloydspharmacy in healthy campaign

Posted on: Fri 12 Mar 2010

COVENTRY-based community pharmacy chain, Lloydspharmacy has teamed up with the Sky Blues to launch Supporters' Health Watch - a new campaign which aims to help supporters become more aware of the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle.

Over the course of six weeks, we hope to motivate people to be more aware of issues such as obesity and cardiovascular disease as well as helping the programme's participants to address and hopefully improve their health and fitness.

Commenting on the programme, City manager Chris Coleman said: "It's not easy sticking to an exercise regime or sacrificing a takeaway or two when the alternatives can be so much more appealing!

"Hopefully this campaign will make a difference and we are more than happy to lend our support to Lloydspharmacy."

Some of the exciting activities lined-up for participants include a health assessment by our pharmacists, health and lifestyle seminars, training sessions as well as opportunity to meet CCFC players.

There will also be a weekly e-newsletter with hints and tips to keep you motivated, upcoming CCFC events as well as what's happening in your local area.

So, if you're aged 40 or over and interested in participating in the Lloydspharmacy Supporters' Health Watch programme, sign-up today by emailing your name, age, address and telephone number to pr@lloydspharamcy.co.uk
