COVENTRY City defender Martin Cranie said the Sky Blues would be travelling back to the Ricoh Arena happy with the point they earned against Swansea at Liberty Stadium.
Chris Coleman's outfit dug their heels in for a point in a goalless stalemate with the league high fliers and Cranie said, after defeats in the league and cup, it was encouraging to turn in a solid defensive performance.
"It was pleasing to get the point because to be honest it wasn't the best game of football but points are what matters," Cranie said.
"From a defensive point of view I thought we did very well tonight because I don't think Swansea actually had many chances at all so for us that's a successful night.
"We're back the Ricoh Arena as well on Saturday and we have been in good form at home so hopefully we can take the positives form this result and carry them into the game at the weekend."
