COVENTRY City defender Richard Wood says the Sky Blues want a positive result from tonight's away clash with Swansea City to remind people what City are capable of.
Memories of three straight home wins and four wins in five games in the Championship appear to have been erased following dramatic late defeats in both the league and FA Cup in the club's last two games.
But Wood, who netted a late goal in the last-gasp defeat away to Ipswich Town ten days ago, said the Sky Blues were keen to get back to winning ways as soon as possible.
"We are aiming to get back on it straight away and get back to winning like we were doing before the last couple of games," Wood said.
"The way we lost against Portsmouth and Ipswich was difficult to take and it's left a bad taste in our mouths to be honest.
"The lads were gutted because we felt like we've performed well enough to get more than we got in both games.
"What we have to do now is a get a positive result and produce a good performance to remind everybody of what we are capable of like we were showing before the last couple of games."
