COVENTRY City boss Chris Coleman says his side stand a good chance of bringing back some points from Portman Road on Saturday if they can maintain their recent displays of self belief and work rate.
The Sky Blues take on Roy Keane's Ipswich Town in the Coca-Cola Championship tomorrow afternoon having won four from their last five league games, with the Tractor Boys also in good form after losing just once in their last 14 games.
But Coleman said he would not be paying attention to the form books and would be concentrating on what the Sky Blues have been doing well recently in order try and continue climbing the league table.
"Ipswich are on a good run at the moment, they have got a strong squad and have not lost in a while but we will just concentrate on ourselves and try to keep climbing the table as we have been doing," he said.
"The lads and myself were obviously disappointed about the last result against Portsmouth but we can take heart from the performance because nobody turned away from the occasion and that is what we are looking for.
"We're back to the league now which is our bread and butter and there are still plenty of points to play for and still plenty of excitement left to come from our season.
"We need to continue the run we have been on and that means going to Portman Road and getting some points so we need to go there with the grit, self belief and work ethic we have been producing in the last few weeks."
