COVENTRY City manager Chris Coleman said his side were fantastic after they picked up a third straight Championship win with a 1-0 victory over Doncaster Rovers at the Ricoh Arena.
Clinton Morrison's 83rd minute spot kick was enough to hand all three points to the Sky Blues and Coleman said it was no less than his side deserved after watching them hit the wordwork three times and largely keep in-form Doncaster on the back foot for much of the game.
"I thought the lads were fantastic today and I thought we were by far the better team and we definitely had more of a cutting edge about us going forward," Coleman said.
"To be honest we could have had two or three goals in the first half but we came in at 0-0 and we just said the lads had to keep going at the pace they had set.
"I thought we chose our moments very well and dominated the game at times, especially in the second half where I thought we were superb.
"I thanked the supporters for travelling all the way down to Plymouth last weekend, they've been magnificent again today so hopefully they can follow us to Nottingham Forest and we will try our best to give them more to shout about."
