Posted on: Fri 12 Feb 2010

COVENTRY City boss Chris Coleman hailed his "magnificent" after they recorded the Sky Blues' first league win at Home Park for 44 years.

Freddy Eastwood's 72nd minute header also made it two wins on the bounce for Coventry who moved up to 17th in the Championship and Coleman praised his side for a display he said was full to the brim of team spirit.

"I thought the lads were superb in their attitude and application and they deserved to win," he said.

"I've found out alot about our squad in these last few difficult weeks and they stuck together today and got their just rewards.

"Freddy has got another goal and Besty and the midfield ran their socks off and I thought our entire back four and Keiren Westwood were outstanding. You have to be to get something when you come here so I'm delighted we've managed to take all the points."
