COLEMAN: That was fantastic three points

Posted on: Fri 12 Feb 2010

COVENTRY City boss Chris Coleman said he would think about using his half-time team talk befiore games in the future after witnessing a second consecutive second half comeback in tonight's 3-2 win over Watford.

The Sky Blues opened the scoring but were 2-1 down at half-time only to come back with a Leon Best brace to take all the points at Vicarage Road and put a stop to five straight defeats against the Hornets in recent meetings.

"I won't tell you what I told the lads at half time but I think I might start dishing it out before the game in future because the boys really responded in the second half and I saw some immense performances," Coleman said.

"It  was a great game to win. We went 1-0 up and then typical us we shot ourselves in th foot.

"We rode our lucky a little bit early in the second half but then we rallied and created some great chances.

"It seems we just like climbing mountains at the moment but in the second half Leon Best was immense and Keiren Westwood was oustanding. We had some superb support from the fans and it was an amazing three points."
