COVENTRY City manager Chris Coleman said tonight's clash with the Blades will be the Sky Blues' toughest test to date this season.
City put the stoppers on a run of two straight defeats with Saturday's 1-1 home draw with Bristol City.
And Kevin Blackwell's side head to the Ricoh Arena tonight looking to protect an undefeated run which has seen them climb to fifth in the Championship table.
"Sheffield United will be a tough test, there's no doubt about that," Coleman said.
"They are always there or thereabouts and they didn't reach last season's play-off final for nothing.
"They are a very strong, physical and well-organised side but I've said to the lads I want to see the same kind of performance we saw in the fiurst 45 minutes against Brsitol City where we played on the front foot and took the game to them.
The Sky Blues boss also said unlike the repeat fixture last season, where the Sky Blues lost 2-1 to the Blades on the eve of an FA Cup quarter-final with Chelsea, there would be no such distraction this season.
"I was very disappointed last season because while I was looking forward to the Sheffield United game, all the talk was of Chelsea and the FA Cup and we know what happened there.
"There will be no such thing this season, there is no FA Cup tie around the corner and there will be total focus on getting a positive result."
