COVENTRY City defender Ben Turner said the Sky Blues want to right their poor performance against Sheffield United at the Ricoh Arena last season and match, if not surpass, the levels the Blades have set so far this campaign.
City fell to a 2-1 defeat to Sheffield United on the eve of last season's FA Cup quarter-final clash with Chelsea and Turner said the squad was 100 per cent focused on righting what he call "a poor performance."
"We've been a true mid-table side so far this season. We've not lost more than we've won and we haven't won more than we've lost so we have a chance to tip the balance in our favour," Turner said.
"Sheffield United are unbeaten but I think sometimes it can make you concentrate more on staying unbeaten than focusing on what's infront of you but every game is different.
"From our point of view we need to be like we were in the first half against Bristol City and motivate ourselves to go past the levels Sheffield United have set up to now.
"We were poor against them last season and they weren't and that's why they beat us so we are going to be looking to address that."
