PRE-SEASON: Wrexham V Coventry
THE Sky Blues travel to Wrexham tomorrow for their first pre-season friendly match of 09/10.
Chris Coleman's side will run-out against the Blue Square Premier outfit after over a week of gruelling training sessions. City's squad have been put through their paces with double training sessions, both on the field and in the gym, despite the recent heat wave.
And the signs ahead of the match are good. Talking to Sky Blues World, Coleman praised the condition of his players.
"The lads have come back and worked hard," he said.
"Their levels are very good and they all look in good nick."
So with preparations for the new season well underway, the squad will travel to the Racecourse Ground tomorrow looking to put some of that training into practice.
And while it might be something of a reunion for the City boss, with former Welsh international team-mate Dean Saunders in charge at Wrexham, Coleman will be hoping to get the pre-season campaign off to a winning start.
City fans can follow all the action with live updates and match reports right here on ccfc.co.uk. Kick off 3pm.
Tickets for the match are priced at £10 for adults, £7 for young adults (16 -21 year olds) and Over 60's, £5 for children (under 15), available on the gate. For further information on tickets, contact the Wrexham ticket office on 01978 262129.
