TICKETS: Prices for new season
THE Sky Blues have released match-day prices for next season, and with a drop in cost in some areas of the ground, the club is aiming to attract more families and individuals on a budget to the Ricoh Arena.
Reflecting the season ticket pricing structure, advance adult prices now start from as little as £16 in the Junior Sky Blues (JSB) Zone with Junior Sky Blues at £6 in that zone and concessions at £10 in that area. Under-sevens are free when accompanied by a paying adult.
That's a drop of £6 for adults in the JSB Zone and £1 for concessions on last season meaning families attending matches can make significant savings.
Adults can also obtain an advance ticket in Zone 3 for under £20 as the club aims to provide a better value to those affected by recession or who have found prices too high in previous seasons.
Nathan Kosky, commercial director of the club, said: "Buying a season ticket still represents the very best value for supporters to come along and see the Sky Blues and we would never undersell our core supporters.
"We hope to see further sales before the end of June before our prices will rise again slightly on season tickets at the start of July.
"However, we understand that there are fans out there who, for all sorts of reasons, cannot be here every week to cheer on their team so we have tried, as we did with season tickets, to give people options for different costs in the various zones, depending on location.
"Most of the feedback I have received from fans since I joined the club last summer was surrounding the cost of coming to games for families so we have significantly improved value-for-money for supporters who want to bring their children and watch from the JSB Zone. A parent can bring two children for £28 if purchasing in advance, and under-7 JSBs remain free.
"We have made a pledge to be a family club and have been recognised as one of the most family friendly clubs in the Football League - hopefully this will further add to that."
The club and Ricoh Arena are also renovating the whole JSB Zone, so match-days will be even more family-oriented in this area.
Prices around the ground have altered with some further changes depending on the zone. As with season tickets, the most popular half-way line seats are at premium price. Full details are below.
Tickets bought on the day of a match rise in price, with further details below.
Kosky added: "With the fixtures out, it really feels like the build-up to the season is in full force. Everyone that comes along is crucial to helping the club financially and vocally and it would be great to see as many people as possible getting behind the team."
Tickets for the opening games of the season will be on sale shortly.
