COVENTRY City fans are set to save money on match tickets and club merchandise when they spend on the high street - and the web.

The Sky Blues have launched a new fan loyalty programme, developed by loyalty management company Reward, which allows its fans to save for club gift vouchers which can be redeemed against tickets, replica kit and other products at the club shop.

The programme, named Sky Blues Rewards, gives fans the opportunity to earn 'ClubCash' vouchers whenever they shop at hundreds of participating high street and on line retailers including Superdrug.com, Amazon.co.uk, Cineworld, Halfords and many more.

Nathan Kosky, commercial director at Coventry City Football Club, commented: "We're delighted to be able to offer the Sky Blues Rewards programme to our loyal fans. At Coventry City we want to help fans wherever we can, and help lower the cost of their football.

"The Reward scheme is simple and free to join, does not require anything more than registering online, and a programme where fans will earn ClubCash easily through their everyday shopping routines on the high street."

Season ticket holders and members of the club will be automatically registered to the programme while other interested fans simply need to visit the Sky Blues Rewards website to register their payment cards.

Fans will then receive Sky Blues vouchers automatically whenever they've built up enough ClubCash from buying with participating retailers.

Bill Crane, Head of Affinity Partnerships at Reward said: "We're delighted to be providing the Sky Blues Rewards programme for the fans and working with Coventry City.

"Football clubs are looking to give extra benefits to their supporters to help them pay for their passion and make sure the turnstiles keep spinning. Sky Blues Rewards does just that and it's a great example of a club thinking about its fans and trying to give something back."
