HALL: It's been a privilege
COVENTRY City defender Marcus Hall called it a privilege to stand on the verge of making his 300th appearance for his boyhood club.
The City full-back, who made his frist appearance for the club in 1994, will hit the big 300 if he plays against Watford in the Championship at the Ricoh Arena on Saturday and the 33-year-old said to do be able to do it at the club he has supported, played for and lived around all his life was a fantastic feeling.
"There are some great names among players that have made 300 appearances and to be on the verge of being among them makes me feel very privileged," he said.
"I didn't actually realise I was so close to be honest but of course the priority is still to try and win games this season so I'm not going to be knocking on the gaffer's door demanding that he plays me.

"It just means alot to me because obviously I come from Coventry, all my family are here, I've always lived in or around Coventry and it's my testimonial year so I'm really looking forward to it."
The former England Under 21 international spent two stints away from the Sky Blues with Stoke City and Nottingham Forest but he added his heart has always stayed with City.
"When I left the club I didn't want to leave to be honest because it just feels right for me here so to get my 300th appearance for the club will definitely give me something to smile about."
