Best sidelined with knee injury
Coventry City striker Leon Best will miss the start of the 2008/09 season with a knee injury.
The 21-year-old went off after just 13 minutes of City's pre-season friendly against Kilmarnock at the weekend and Chris Coleman has revealed the extent of the injury.
"Leon has suffered a small problem with his medial ligament and he'll be out for between three and five weeks," said the Sky Blues boss.
"It's a big blow for us because Leon has been looking very good during pre-season. He's been showing his best form since I have been at the Club so we will miss him.
"We will have to give him enough time to get over the problem but I have no doubt that Leon will be back as soon as he possibly can."
