COVENTRY City manager Chris Coleman says fans travelling to the Club's friendly against Kilmarnock tomorrow could be a getting a sneak peak at the team who will start against Norwich City in the season opener next week.

Coleman says he has picked a strong side for what he expects to be a tough game against the Scottish Premier League outfit tomorrow in what will be the final preparatory 90 minutes before the Sky Blues kick off their Championship campaign against the Canaries on Saturday, August 9.

"The side we will start with tomorrow will more than likely be the one that starts against Norwich next Saturday," he said.

"But it also been important over the last week that all the guys got plenty of minutes under their belts so we have a fully fit squad of players ready to play if called upon.

The City boss also says he is pleased with the way pre-season preparations have gone north of the border.

"To be fair to the boys we've worked them very, very hard. For me fitness is not just about what you do on the training ground but also about how you look after yourself off it as well.

"I feel we've done what we wanted to in terms of preparation. That doesn't guarantee that we will get three points against Norwich but in terms of getting ourselves ready we have not left anything to chance."
