Defender Robert Page has completed a move to League One outfit Huddersfield Town.

The experienced former Wales captain, 33,  has signed a deal with the Terriers until the end of the season after his contract at City was cancelled by mutual consent.

He has found first-team chances hard to come by this season and his last appearances for the Sky Blues came in the 2-0 Carling Cup victory at Carlisle back in August.

Page departs the Ricoh Arena having made 76 appearances for the Sky Blues and scored one goal - a spectacular diving header against Reading in September 2005 - after joining from Cardiff seven months earlier.

Robert Page celebrates after scoring what proved to be his only goal for Coventry City, against Reading in 2005

Said City manager Iain Dowie: "Robert has been a tremendous professional while with Coventry City and a fantastic character around the club.

"We both felt that it was the right time in his career for Pagey to move and I really wish him all the best because he is top bloke."
