Doyle's New Deal
Michael Doyle has pledged his long-term future to the Sky Blues by signing a three-year extension to his current contract, which will keep him at the club until the end of 2010/11 season.
The Republic of Ireland midfielder has been a consistent performer at the heart of the City midfield ever since joining from Celtic in 2003 and is closing in on 200 appearances for the club.
Manager Iain Dowie made securing the services of Doyle one of his major targets this summer and the news ends speculation linking the 25-year-old star with a move away from the Ricoh Arena.

"This is a huge signing for us," declared the City boss, "I've had more than a few enquires, some from Premiership clubs, and that shows how highly regarded Michael is.
"He's got Premiership energy, has been in the side whenever available, and was instrumental in the success we had when I arrived as manager.
"We have an exceptional relationship and his ambition matches my own."
He added: "I'm delighted we've manage to sort out contracts for some excellent young players already at the club so soon into the summer."
