Academy Manager - Gregor Rioch
Former footballer Gregor Ricoh took over as Sky Blues Academy Manager in the summer of 2007.
The son of former Scottish International and Arsenal manager Bruce Rioch, the 32-year-old called time on a playing career in the lower league to focus on working his way up the coaching ladder.
He spent eleven years as a terrier-like left-sided defender, beginning his career as a trainee at Luton in 1993 and enjoying a spell on loan at Barnet before joining Peterborough in 1995, where he made a further 13 league appearances.
After just a season at Posh, Rioch joined Hull City and clocked up 86 appearances, scoring ten goals.
He made a further century of appearances for Macclesfield and Shrewsbury before dropping out of the Football League with Northwich.
Rioch finished his playing career at Football Conference North side Leigh RMI in 2004.
His first coaching appointment came soon after, as Rioch took up a job as head coach at Koge FC in Denmark, whom he led them to the top of the First Division table.
After two successful seasons, he left to join Manchester City as Academy Coach to the then U17s squad and after spending a year coaching the Citizens' reserve squad, Rioch decided to join fellow former Man City coaches Tim Flowers and Frankie Bunn at the Ricoh Arena.
