'We are completely focused' - Fleck

John Fleck hopes to keep his starting place against Doncaster Rovers...

Coventry City midfielder John Fleck wants to play all of the remaining six fixtures of the season as City prepare to face Doncaster Rovers on Good Friday.

The Scottish midfielder has made 36 appearances this season but has found starting places difficult to come, having made his first start since January last week against Portsmouth.

Fleck, who signed from Rangers last summer, hopes he can keep his starting spot until the end of the season and build on his performances.

The 21-year old said: "It was great to start last week and I really enjoyed playing the full 90 minutes.

"I hope I impressed Steven Pressley with my performance, as I know we lost, but we did well in periods and probably should have scored a few early on.

"If I continue in the team, I know I can get better with more minutes under my belt and I think that showed last week because I felt I grew into the game.

"It is a big game and we usually do really well against the better teams in the division so we have plenty of reasons to be confident."

With the agreement to play at the Ricoh Arena for the remaining three home matches reached today (Thursday), it has been a turbulent week for the Sky Blues.

However, Fleck confirmed the players are only focused on the football. He continued: "We don't concern ourselves with any of what is going on behind the scenes because we can't do anything about it.

"The training has been normal and we are just focusing on getting the three points against Doncaster. They are top of the league so we need to be at our best to get the win.

"The side are confident so it will be a really interesting game and one I am really looking forward to."
