The City duo are currently with the Welsh Under-19 squad and both players started for Wales against a talented German side, and were subbed in the 89th minute in Nordhorn, Germany.
It was always going to be a tough test for Wales, particularly in front of a crowd of just under 3000 people, and Geraint Williams’ young men put in a spirited performance but were unable to stop Germany from taking a 10th minute lead when Enis Bunjaki scored from the penalty spot.
