The Sky Blues boss is also wary of keeping everyone's feet on the ground...

Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray is looking forward to another challenging home game against in-form Doncaster Rovers.

Rovers travel to Coventry this weekend with four wins in their last five games and are enjoying a period of success under recently appointed manager Darren Ferguson.

Mowbray is wary of the threat a Ferguson team will pose and believes it will be another exciting game at the Ricoh Arena.

"Doncaster have had some really good results of late," Mowbray said.

"They've played with three at the back recently and I read that Darren regretted not doing so in a recent defeat to Peterborough.

"So we're always respectful of the opposition, Darren's teams are always well coached with a good philosophy. We're mindful that they're a good football team but we've played against some good football teams and won this season so there will be a good game in prospect.

"I think two or three times we've prepared to play against a team that play a certain way before tailoring their approach for us, so we've been really focusing on our strengths.

"You can sometimes over prepare so we can concentrate on what we're good at really."

Mowbray is excited by the latest challenge facing his team who are currently ten unbeaten in League One.

But the manager is aware that a defeat will come at some point and is eager to keep everyone's feet on the ground.

He continued: "I know we are going to lose some matches between now and the end of the season, but it's how you bounce back that defines you. You have to be mentally tough to recover from defeats, it's a tough league which could see you go on a bad run.

"So I’m not counting any chickens, we just have to play the next game and keep the confidence going."
